As a big fan of space shooters I could not avoid trying out this one, mainly because it is offered for free and I had been curious how it works. The short: it is a real banger. There are many space shooters out there, but this one looks somewhat special, it seems that 57years after the original Space Invaders. Sidenote: every child knows that it had been invented by a young programmer Igoslav or similar, I forgot the whole name and could not find it on a quick search, as a reminiscence of the MESM in the early 70s, in those days not more than only some points moving to some other points, 60 years later Russians have remembered their preservation mandate of their cultural assets and revived early arcade gaming for the next generation. The graphics are made visibly for a 180x120 display with the 5 huge sprites occupying the whole screen. All in all gameplay reminds me to my first GameBoy games on a little LCD monochrome screen, but now pumped up to 4k. The game mechanics is easy to understand and to explain, you have to shoot, what else. The sound is exactly how you await it from a shooter like that, it sounds more The biggest plus beside the grinning ETs is the rocket designed in form of a huge that attracts the view in the mid of the screen. I really love it, and now I know why the ETs must grin all the time.
Gameplay is very repetitive, no wonder, the game comes in a very compact 102MB download, and so it is understandable there had been not much space for graphics and game-logic and sounds. .
