Beads are randomly scattered over a web, and it is up to you to help break the spell. Much of the gameplay revolves around developing solutions-how to make a line of three or more beads of the same color. You better hurry to break the spell over Rainbow Kingdom.
Brain teaser.
2 gameplay modes.
60 levels.

Finally got around to installing on another machine. Only got 4 levels played. For a veteran match 3 player they were easy. No danger of the time running out. However, on the 4th level, one of the web strands dissapeared, as I was warned might happen during level 3. Unfortunately, that ancient machine started to lock up. Multiple times I had to restart. It's not the game. Seems it might be a memory card issue. Too late tonight to troubleshoot it.
I still recommend the game. Match 3 enthusiasts might just need a little patience. With 60 levels, I expect the challenge of the later levels will be worth the download. Thanks to GGOTD and the game provider.

No review on BigFish, so I checked the web. This is a 2008 game, 1st of 3 Rainbow Web games. RW2 and 3 were given away here in 2016, and were quite well received. I got #2 then and enjoyed it. Got to fix that machine one of these days. lol. Basically a match 3 on a spider's web, so challenges your geographic sense - your ability to see patterns in space - perhaps more so than on a standard box grid. Especially since there are complications as you go on, such as some of the web strands missing in later puzzles. Has both timed and untimed modes. Has a goal system, that is that some of the "stones" on the webs have letters. You need to free all of these by making matches with them in order to complete the level. Doing that builds a word that fits the magic theme here. You don't need to unscramble, or do the letters in order, they'll automatically travel to the correct blocks in the word when you free them.
Saw 1 Russian bloggers post that only gave it 5 out of 10. Liked it, but one of the reasons was that it didn't have a hint button - for those having trouble getting the hang of it - but he didn't note that it does have the standard match 3 hint mechanic: when you have gone long enough without making a match, one of the stones will shake, letting you know it can be matched. Of course, as is standard, the hint is not always the best strategic hint - it's just a random match - but, if you're stuck....
On the other hand, 1 blogger gave it an average review, for just the opposite reason. Liked it, but thought it got too easy after you got the hang of it. 2 other reviews were more positive, including a 8/10 review from Gamezebo and a 5 star from Common Sense Media, though I don't consider that a prime source. It's mostly a movie/tv site, and mostly an "is it safe for kids" site, which doesn't really apply in this case.
One note, though BigFish description matches the Rainbow Web 1 specs, there's a reference at the bottom of the stats that it's RW 2. This is a typo.
It's RW 1. Hopefully, all 3 will be available here this cycle.
I'd say that if you like match 3s, and/or want a different spatial challenge, this is one to grab. I can't put it on this machine - it's an out of date Chromebook - but will download it on 1 of my other machines, and likely post at least a mini review later.

One of my favorite games. I have 3 of them.

Played this before, it's relaxing and a small challenge, not stressful. If you like this one, there are several in this series from Spiderweb Software. Only downside is that I didn't feel it was replayable after completing.
